Protocol and Procedures for Mortuary Processes:
- Below are the protocols for mortuary processes ensuring dignity, confidentiality, and respect.
- 1. The esteemed funeral director respectfully transports the deceased to our mortuary facility.
- 2. With great care, the roller door is opened to allow the hearse entry.
- 3. The hearse, or a designated vehicle, is gently guided close to the cool room.
- 4. Upon completion, the roller door is reverently and securely closed, safeguarding the privacy of our guests.
- 5. The deceased is transferred to the cool room with the utmost delicacy, utilizing a stretcher.
- 6. A volunteer team, thoughtfully selected by the grieving family and comprising up to four individuals, tenderly washes and dresses the body under the compassionate supervision of a scholar chosen by the family.
- 7. At the appointed time, the funeral director respectfully escorts the deceased from the mortuary to the family's chosen community center or mosque, ensuring a dignified transition.
- 8. The compassionate presence of the funeral director is maintained at the community center or mosque, offering unwavering support during the viewing and prayers.
- 9. Subsequently, the deceased is transported to the designated cemetery by the funeral director for burial with the utmost reverence and care.
- 10. Before the journey to the cemetery, the funeral director meticulously ensures that all necessary arrangements are in place, ensuring the deceased is respectfully prepared for their final journey.
- 11. Upon arrival at the cemetery, the funeral director reverently oversees the orderly procession and burial proceedings, ensuring a solemn and dignified farewell.
- 12. Following the burial, the funeral director extends any additional support or assistance required by the family, offering comfort and solace during their time of mourning.
- 13. Throughout the entire process, our dedicated mortuary staff and volunteers maintain a demeanor of professionalism, compassion, and reverence, honoring the deceased and their cherished loved ones.
